Michele has had a great interest in nutrition and the science behind raw food for many years, which has led her to study intensively. She recently completed the “Benefits of Raw Food Nutrition Educator Certification Course” taught by Drs. Karin and Rick Dina at the Living Light Culinary Arts Institute in Fort Bragg, California.
Prior to this, Michele studied and attended lectures with many of the prominent raw food leaders, such as Viktoras Kulvinskas, Dr. Brian Clement, David Wolfe, Kevin and Annmarie Gianni, Dr. Doug Graham, Frederic Patenaude, and Paul Nison.
Michele is a graduate of California State University, Chico with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications/Broadcasting, and has spent most of her professional life working in the marketing and entertainment industry. She is now very excited to help students convey the message of vibrant and living health and will use her experience to guide students as they build their own brand and platforms. She will also be video taping the student demo classes as they complete their certification.
Michele, who turns 50 years young this August, first became a vegetarian in the late 1980′s after reading “Fit for Life” by Harvey and Marilyn Diamond as well as Dr. John McDougall’s “The McDougall Program”. She now embraces a raw food vegan lifestyle along with her boyfriend Franklin, who has been a vegan for over 25 years.
